BILLBOARD
After linking up in Venice, Calif., the now-duo began working together on new music under the JOME moniker, with a shared desire to create a different kind of pop, something with a deeper resonance. Today, they return with the first offering of the new collaboration, the blissful new single "Mountains," premiering exclusively via Billboard.

With only three other tracks tucked under their belt, LA-based duo JOME recently released their newest song “Snow” on their SoundCloud page. Simply put, “Snow” is a tranquil composition that traces the loss that comes with leaving and all that lingers behind, even with the passing of time, even with the fading of memory.
CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND
Here, JOME is haunted by lonesome guitar lines and spectral synths, as well as percussion that crackles and fades into the background like a distant storm. “Cinnamon”, according to him, “is about giving in and allowing a moment to fully envelope you. We are often better off when we surrender.”
